As EVP at AVIGILON, enabled 2x revenue growth in first 12 months. Drove acquisition of an iconic 135,000 square foot office building in Vancouver, BC for $42M which sold 4 years later for $108M.
Spearheaded the construction, fit-up, staffing, and opening of a 58,000 square foot brewery with a one acre beer garden in Virginia Beach, VA.
Chris is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience leading global operations in the telecommunications, information technology, consumer electronics and beverage industries. He began his independent management consulting practice in 2016 and has helped a variety of diverse enterprises in the United States and Canada develop and execute strategies to increase sales, streamline operations and increase profitability.
From 2015 to 2018 he served as President of GFBC Inc, a major craft brewery in which he was an investor. From 2014 to 2015, he was the Chief Technical Officer and Vice President of Manufacturing for Intrinsyc Technologies a leading product development company. Prior to joining Intrinsyc, Mr. Ross was a co-founder of ClipCast Technologies, which launched a video technology platform enabling the automatic creation of multi-POV video highlights using smartphones and IoT cameras. From 2013 to 2014, Mr. Ross was the Executive Vice President of Global Operations for Avigilon Corporation where he was a key contributor to the company’s revenue growth.
From 2005 to 2012, Mr. Ross served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Novatel Wireless Inc. where he established a lean, high performing team that enabled annual revenue to quadruple. From 1999 to 2005, Mr. Ross was Vice President of Operations at Ericsson Wireless Communications with responsibility for world-wide supply of wireless telecommunications infrastructure based on CDMA radio access technology. From 1994 to 1999, he was Vice President, Manufacturing at QUALCOMM where he established the company’s large systems manufacturing operation and ramped capacity from $0 to $1 billion. Prior to joining QUALCOMM, he was Vice President of Manufacturing at Spectragraphics Corporation where he founded the company’s contract manufacturing subsidiary, SMS Technologies and served as its General Manager. Mr. Ross holds both Bachelor and Master of Electrical Engineering degrees from Manhattan College.
